1. Eligibility Criteria

To register as a seller on ThriftyCart, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a resident Indian business entity (individual, sole proprietor, partnership firm, or private limited company).
  • Must have a valid GST registration for taxable supplies.
  • Must have an active bank account in the business name or proprietor’s name (for individuals).
  • Must accept and comply with the platform’s terms, policies, and code of conduct.

2. Permitted Product Categories

Sellers can register to list and sell products under the following categories only:

  • Furnishings
  • Beddings
  • Blinds
  • Carpets
  • Curtains
  • Cushions
  • Floor Coverings
  • Floor Mats

No other product categories are allowed. Any attempt to list unrelated products may result in account rejection or suspension.


3. Required Documents for Registration

All new sellers must submit the following documents during the registration process:

Mandatory Documents

  • PAN Card (Individual/Business)
  • GST Certificate
  • Bank Account Proof (Cancelled Cheque/Bank Passbook Copy)
  • Aadhar Card/Driving License of Authorized Signatory

Optional (if applicable)

  • Certificate of Incorporation (for Pvt. Ltd. or LLP)
  • Business Registration Certificate (for partnerships/firms)

All documents must be clear, valid, and match the applicant’s business or individual details.


4. Registration Process

  1. Visit https://thriftycart.in and go to the Seller Registration section.
  2. Fill out the online form with correct business information.
  3. Upload all required documents in the specified format.
  4. Submit the application for review.
  5. ThriftyCart’s seller onboarding team will verify the submitted details.
  6. Upon successful verification, the seller account will be activated, and login credentials will be provided.

5. Verification and Approval

  • The verification process may take 3 to 5 working days.
  • ThriftyCart reserves the right to reject any registration if submitted details are incomplete, incorrect, or unverifiable.
  • If rejected, the applicant may reapply after resolving the issues or submitting corrected documents.

6. Account Activation and Access

Once approved:

  • Sellers will receive dashboard access to manage their listings, orders, payments, and support.
  • Sellers must complete their profile, add bank details, and agree to the latest Seller Terms and Conditions and Seller Payment Policy before listing products.

7. Data Retention

All seller-submitted data is retained securely on our servers for 30 days only post-account creation or deactivation.
Sellers must maintain their own copies of submitted and approved documentation for compliance purposes.


8. Policy Violations

Any false submission, forgery, or attempt to misrepresent business details during registration will result in immediate rejection or permanent ban from the platform.
